Fiona works in the tech and business world, and is also an amateur Latin dancer. Every day, she steps into the studio during the Blue Hour — that magical moment between day and night when shades of blue and violet blend into the air. In that fleeting light, all her fatigue and anxiety quietly fade away. Through countless days and years, whether in joy or sorrow, it is always that dance in the blue hour that accompanies and heals her.
That is why she created BlueHourDance — to bring the beauty of those blue-hour moments into everyday life. Fiona thought: if Tenniscore and Balletcore can define fashion trends, why can’t there be a Latincore for us Latin dancers?
BlueHourDance seeks to break the boundary that keeps Latin dancewear confined to the studio. We believe the elegance and strength of Latin dance can also live in our daily routines — in the way we commute, shop, or move through other forms of exercise. The confidence, freedom, and passion of a Latin dancer should never be limited by setting or label. Latincore is not just a style — it’s a way of life. We’re inspired by the comfort of yoga and tennis wear — reimagining Latin dancewear to feel effortless and wearable in daily life.
At the same time, BlueHourDance believes that art doesn’t only belong on grand stages — it also thrives in everyday streets and studios around the world. Latin dance is not just at the Blackpool stage; it’s alive wherever dancers move. Living and working across cultures, Fiona hopes to connect dancers worldwide, to foster cultural exchange, and to tell their beautiful stories.
